Sun safe

Do you want to get sunburned ?  if you don’t read this“ You need a hat, sunglasses and sunblock.

You have to wear a hat to protect your head from the sun a trucker cap is the worst hat because it only protects the face.  Not the back of your head  and so you don’t get skin cancer on your head wear a fully covered hat.  

You have to put sunscreen on to your body arms and legs so they won’t get burned from the sun and skin cancer.  And a headache and don’t get burned when you're swimming or having a walk on the beach.

3 You will have to put on some glasses because you can’t see properly and you might get blind and get an headache.  If you don’t wear sun glasses you don’t wear sun glasses you might get a headache and get blind from the brightness of the sun.

The way you stay safe in the sun is that if you were wearing a hat, sunglasses, and some sunscreen.

The search party

Hi my name is Harlem and my name is josh and my name is Phil lets

get started. One wonderful evening Phil was driving back from work. Until someone stood on the road Phil said “you want a ride sir” and he said in a evil voice “yes kind sir” and got in his car until he got kidnapped. Then then next day on a  cold freezing morning

Harlem left at 6:00am to go to work but as he was walking through the freezing cold he fell into a radioactive pool.

as Phil was getting torched and Harlem drowning in a radioactive pool Josh had to find Harlem and Phil.

When Phil was getting torched he was saved by a stranger and Harlem got radioactive goo in his mouth and tuxedo  are getting all gooey.

then Phil got beaten up by the person he was saved from in are dark. Alleyway it was a really rough day for Phil  the man broke his good arm

Harlem. Drowned but Harlem raised out of the radioactive pool and had super powers and he promised himself that he would protect the city from harm.

Josh found both of them but when josh found Harlem he was amazed. And he went to go save the day of the city Phil came back with a broken arm josh and Phil went back home going to sleep and getting ready for the next day. And left Harlem to help the city.

I learned some things about some Samoa food we eat coconut rice, taros, Panipopo - Sweet coconut buns, Paifala – Samoan half-moon pies, Panikeke La Potopoto - Round Pancakes.In the old days like long long time ago the Samoan people buildthere house out of leafs and branches.

some New zealand maori house were made from leaves and branches but New zealand has technology. But Samoa dose't 
and Samoa and New zealand are both island. And people from Samoa come to Newzealand and New zealand people go to Samoa. 

my holiday highlight

On december 25th me and my family went on holiday to mahia.

To see my grandmother family we stayed at a hotel.

On December 25th me and my family went on holiday to Mahia. To see my grandmother family we stayed at a hotel. Sometimes at Mahia we go down to the beach for a swim.

When I got to the beach a big wave hit me over . After the wave I swam out to the deep then I had to swim back. The sand was really hot on my feet then we went back to the hotel. After a week in mahia we went back to GI.

When we came back it the road was very long trip

at Mahia we dived for kina.

I think that we should  stay in  school on monday to thursday. So on friday it can be a relaxing day at home so we can do things at home.

and we can do more thing at home like help your family around the house .

In my opinion we should stay in school on monday to friday so we learn

more. Different things about different languages. learn thing from the past.

On monday Rm13 went to immersion assembly I liked

the pancake eating contest. Miss walters and noah

put cream on there face and eating pancakes

My Holiday

In the holidays on saturday

me Josh and Jalen came with my mum and sister.

We picked Josh and Jalen up at 10:00. We were going to laser strike

near  mt wellington. and rock climbing  for my10th birthday .

We picked up Josh fist then Josh gave me  20 bucks. Then we picked up Jalen he gave me a bag with clothes and a card. Then we went to laser tag we had 3 games of laser strike then we had 2 wed missions. then we went to rock climbing .

At the end of the day we took Josh and Jalen home it was awesome.

youth town

On Wednesday all year 5 students

went to youth town  in the middle of the city near the sky tower.

When Room 13 & 14 went inside the people that work at youth town told there name’s to us.

Then Room 13 went to the pool then we all went to the changing rooms

to change into our swimming togs then. Pj hoped in  the pool first to see

how deep it is then we all hop in to. we had free time swimming it was

lots of fun. then we went into the art studio and I made 5 ink pictures

it was cool.  then we had lunch then Room 13 & 14

went back to school on the bus.

this is a story about a Tuatara that lived on land and a shark lived in the sea.

Once there lived Tuatara and a shark called mago Tuatara and shark
