“Have you ever been to a school camp? I have, I’ll tell you all about it”. On Wednesday I got up and out of my sleeping bag and got out of my pj and we went to the hall for jump jam for a warm up. Then we went to get our plates and bowls. We had rice bubbles and cornflakes for breakfast.

I slept in the same tent, with Matiu and Taimana. we were in the force we done top town and we won top town against the band then we done kayaking at the pt england beach with some adults and some year 8 it was very cool.

Then it was Friday, all of us went to the Mangere pools.

There were two big slides and a deep pool. I did a front flip it was really deep and I could not touch the bottom,

off the diving board. We had a fun day. I hope I can be in the force next year when I am a year 6. Leave some

Camp Concert

Swimming Reflection

Hi my name is Harlem. Me and my class go swimming at the GI pools. I am in group 3 and my instructor is Josh and we swim for an half an hour. We went inside the Glen Innes pools, we had to get changed into our swimming togs and we walked to the showers. Then we hop out of the shower and sit down in our groups. I knew how to do faster swimming and Josh taught me how to glide sideways . When our times up it was room 14 turn, room 13 had to get into our uniform and we put our togs in our plastic bag then we walk back to school. I need more practice trying how to hold my breath longer under water .

Camp 2013

Today I had my first ever day of camp for 2013. My team was the Force. The first game was top town we had planks so we do not step in the the swamp filled with eels that are hungry. We had a balloon fight and the Force were the winners. Then we went kayaking here is a photo of us at the beach.
