the life cycle of a butterfly

The egg

The egg is tiny like a dot. The female butterfly lays it’s eggs on a swan plant. She makes sure that the egg is attached to the leaf so it does not fall off and die.

  

The caterpillar

The caterpillar has layers on himself. When he gets fat he rips the layers off and he keeps riping his layers off. When it happens 4 times it turns into a  Chrysalis.

Chrysalis

The Caterpillar hangs on the swan plant, and turns

inside out. When it starts to hang it turns green. Then  it start to turn black or gray before it turn into a butterfly.

When the chrysalis is grey that means the butterfly is going to come out.When the butterfly comes out the wings of the butterfly are all crinkly. But then

the butterflies wings start to pump blood into its wings after it flies away.

my holiday highlight

On december 25th me and my family went on holiday to mahia.

To see my grandmother family we stayed at a hotel.

On December 25th me and my family went on holiday to Mahia. To see my grandmother family we stayed at a hotel. Sometimes at Mahia we go down to the beach for a swim.

When I got to the beach a big wave hit me over . After the wave I swam out to the deep then I had to swim back. The sand was really hot on my feet then we went back to the hotel. After a week in mahia we went back to GI.

When we came back it the road was very long trip

at Mahia we dived for kina.
