Wild Orphans

The Jandals and I have been reading wild orphans. An orphan is an animal or a person whose parents have been killed.

1. What other animals apart from elephants are at the Tsavo National Park?

lion rhino hippos antelopes.

2. How do baby elephants become orphans?

there mother has been killed by hunters

3. How long does it take for elephants to become an adult elephant?

two or one year.

4. Why is it important to pick up a baby elephant that’s been orphaned quickly?

to look after them.

Harlem triathlon

Have you had a triathlon before? Room 13 and 14 had a triathlon on the school field. We sat on the field for three events. There was a slip and slide, bikes and we had to run too. On the field, I zoomed fast down the slip and shied “weeeeee”. And some of room 13 and 14 boys and girls were doing star jumps because they didn’t have togs. Then we shot like a bullet on the bmx bikes around the fields. Lastly, we ran as fast as we could all the way to the finish line. It was very cool I hope we do it again next year.

Harlem Easter Break

On Easter I went up North for a break with my mum and my dad and my sister we left in the morning at 4:00am on Friday. After our breakfast we went to the beach for a look around and for a swim. There were big waves that hit me over but I had a great day. When I got out of my bed I had breakfast for breakfast we had fish and chips after we played at home a little then we had lunch then we went to the beach to play in the big waves. Then we played in the sand then we went back to the apartment and we had fun.

My Special Kakapo

This is a photo of a kakapo. They can't fly because they are too heavy and their wings are too short. These birds sleep during the daytime and come out to hunt for food. There is a special island where these birds live, it is called Codfish Island. Please leave me a commet?

Camp Reflection

“Have you ever been to a school camp? I have, I’ll tell you all about it”. On Wednesday I got up and out of my sleeping bag and got out of my pj and we went to the hall for jump jam for a warm up. Then we went to get our plates and bowls. We had  rice bubbles and cornflakes for breakfast.

I slept in the same tent, with Matiu and Taimana. we were in the force we done top town and we won top town against the band then we done kayaking at the pt england beach with some adults and some year 8 it was very cool.

Then it was Friday, all of us went to the Mangere pools.

There were two big slides and a deep pool. I did a front flip it was really deep and I could not touch the bottom,

off the diving board. We had a fun day. I hope I can be in the force next year when I am a year 6. Leave some

Camp Concert

This is the Force item at the concert. It was on Thursday and we done it at the hall. We came 3rd at least we tried and we had lots of fun. Leave us some feedback please
